Join NASA’s MITTIC Competition! MITTIC is the MUREP Innovation and Tech Transfer Idea Competition,

MITTIC is a Minority University Research and Education Project (MUREP) spinoff challenge established to develop new ideas for commercialization by seeking proposals from multi-disciplinary teams enrolled at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).

Gather your team, include at least some team members and an advisor from an MSI (in PATHS those are UMass Boston, Bunker Hill Community College, and UMass Lowell). You’ll want some engineers and some marketing students (3-10 students overall) and then create a product to sell using one of NASA’s Intellectual Properties. For example, memory foam mattresses and squishmallows both use NASA developed foam.

Fall proposals due by October 26, 2022. Spring proposals due January 3-March 15.
